Next Generation Academy Foundation is here to support the educational development of NGA students by providing enhanced opportunities for a quality education and promoting greater community involvement in education. As a 501c (3), The Foundation was created to raise funds and provide support for educational activities and programs that enrich the learning environment- but are not financed through traditional operating budgets.

NGA's Pathways to success lead to Greensboro's future.
Next Generation Academy is an EXTRAORDINARY school. Blasting through barriers and changing the narrative, NGA is extending the role of primary education by offering pathways to meaningful 21st century careers for their students- building skill-sets and confidence that transcend and erase socio-demographic lines. Hands- on learning in S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education at all grade levels, with a focus on the future and community, will prepare NGA students for a tomorrow with no boundaries and a Greensboro with limitless opportunities.

As the nation's first Woz Ed School of Distinction, (the brainchild of Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak) NGA is doing what no other school has done: Implementing ten of the Career Pathways in a single year. The pathways include coding, drone piloting, engineering, cybersecurity, and mobile development. They also include animation, data analysis, augmented reality/virtual reality, robotics, and artificial intelligence.

to support its 10 Career Pathways.
2) provide instructional materials to assist students with learning loss.
3) provide enrichment activities like our after school learning programs and summer school.
4) growing NGA's reach to more students through the expansion of facilities.
6) achieve our goal to provide every student with one-to-one technology.
7) support extensive outreach to our parents and to support NGA's Parent Academy.
8) create, host and support community events that educate Greensboro parents, business and civic leaders in the importance of our school's mission.
